Jason Derulo to perform at NFL Super Bowl event with broken foot

Jason Derulo is currently scheduled to partake in the NFL’s Super Bowl events, in Phoenix, AZ. He will be part of their TikTok Tailagate Super Bowl event, where a performance with The Black Keys will take place, on February 12. That is the day of the big game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.

According to TMZ, Derulo broke his foot three weeks ago, while playing in a pickup basketball game. This was due to him going for a rebounding, and landing on someone’s foot. That resulted in a torn ligament. Derulo has since been using a walking cane.

However, Derulo will perform through this injury, even if he’s not at 100%. He has been undergoing physical therapy and have stem cells injected. Derulo does have 11 more days to heal up, so hopefully, no issues will arise on stage. In 2022, Derulo released singles such as “Slidin” featuring Kodak Black, and “Never Let You Go,” featuring Shouse. He intially soared to stardom in 2009, with his “Whatcha Say” single. Rihanna will also go on to perform at halftime of the Super Bowl.
