J. Prince denies that he makes rappers “check in” in Houston
J. Prince has been trending on social media over the past 24 hours, due to his appearance on the “Million Dollaz Worth Of Game” podcast. There, he debunked speculation that he makes rappers “check in,” whenever they come to his hometown of Houston.
“Never,” the Rap-A-Lot Records founder claimed. “We don’t have time for no sucka sh*t like that. A lot of people from the different police departments to all these different people wanna insinuate like we extorting people and they have to check in. Man, that ain’t no money in that sh*t. I got more money than I can spend, right? That sh*t ain’t gon’ work. It ain’t gon turn out right, ’cause real n*ggas ain’t gon’ have that no way. Check-in for what?”
Prince has been getting a lot of backlash online for this check in situation, following the shooting death of Takeoff. His son was also at the bowling alley, 810 Billiards & Bowling, where Takeoff lost his life. However, he and his family did set up a memorial for Takeoff, outside of that bowling alley.
