This year has seen Joe Budden return in a major way. People who follow the mixtape movement are well-aware of Joe Budden never really going anywhere. But, a lot of people are seeing him for the first time in a decade on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop,” where he has stolen the show.
Controversy has also made a big comeback, as well as battle rapping, which is sort of symbolic. Ever since last summer, battle rappers have made inroads into the mainstream, most notably Loaded Lux. Coinciding with this are the beefs, with many rappers going after each other.
Joe Budden may have caused the next beef, or at least given people a good laugh, as he made some interesting Twitter posts. Unimpressed by battle rappers, Joe Budden gave his two cents on the culture. Highly based on punchlines, Joe Budden made a couple of tweets about this.
