Album Preview: Birdman – “Rich Gang”

Rich GangBy Preemo
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer

Probably the leader of the new hip hop wave, Birdman has changed things around for his new album. Another name for the YMCMB movement is now Rich Gang and Birdman has used it to name his album. Birdman always kicked a rhyme or two, but he has become more and more like his business associate, DJ Khaled.

Nothing wrong with that because Birdman has a certified hit on his hands with “Tap Out,” the song that launched the album. “Tap Out” features Future, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Mack Maine. There are a lot of other guest features on the album including Yo Gotti, Detail, Tyga, Kendrick Lamar, Ace Hood, French Montana, and Mystikal.

Other guests on the album included Bow Wow, R. Kelly, Rick Ross, Game, Gudda Gudda, Meek Mill, T.I., and Cory Gunz. This upcoming two weeks is going to be full of releases from Cash Money Records. Ace Hood is due on July 16 and Birdman is due on July 23.
