Album Preview: Kreayshawn – “Somethin ‘Bout Kreay”

One year ago, Kreayshawn was well on her way to stardom, becoming one of the biggest female artists from the Bay Area. Alongside V-Nasty, Kreayshawn was a member of the White Girl Mob. The duo received co-signs from such legends as Mistah Fab and Gucci Mane, while immediately turning off Game and Rick Ross.
Last summer, Kreayshawn had one of the biggest viral hits on her hands with her popular single, “Gucci Gucci.” But, when no follow-up single was delivered, there were soon many other female artists to contend with. Iggy Azalea and Chloe are only among those who have gained popularity in the same lane as Kreayshawn.
Before she even puts out an album, in fact through her debut album, Kreayshawn is in the midst of a comeback. Early this month, Kreayshawn released the artwork for her album, Somethin ‘Bout Kreay. Now, the official track listing for the album has been delivered, as the September 18 release date looms.
