Missing out on 2012, with the exception of the work with his team, Wale is fresh for 2013 and has come out strong. Releasing his Folarin mixtape late in 2012, Wale included many album-worthy songs. Among the songs on the project was “Bad,” with Tiara Thomas, which has done well.
“Bad” has done so well that it was turned into the lead single off the next Wale album. In the early spring of 2013, Wale revealed his album would be titled The Gifted. The album was given a release date of June 25. While other albums set for that date have been changed, Wale has held things down.
With his album around the corner, Wale released his second single, “Love Hate Thing.” A leader in the romantic anthems, Wale decided to double up on them with The Gifted, as he did on his last album. Earlier tonight, Wale released the official track listing for the album that went along with the cover from earlier.
