Right before the Christmas season gets into full swing, Wiz Khalifa will hand off his second studio album, O.N.I.F.C. Throughout the year, Wiz Khalifa has stated the initials stand for two acronyms, “only nigga in first class” and “one night in first class.” Last year, Wiz Khalifa realized he would typically be the only “nigga” in first class and only for the night.

Anticipation was high for Wiz Khalifa’s Rolling Papers debut. Before releasing his debut album, Wiz Khalifa released several mixtapes and street albums. Starting in 2006, the Pittsburgh rapper would soon take over the mixtape game. Rick Ross soon inquired, but Wiz Khalifa signed to Atlantic Records. Once “Black & Yellow” was released, there was no looking back.

However, fans were disappointed in Wiz Khalifa’s debut, many saying he had gone pop in an effort to sell more records. Admitting he let his original fans down, Wiz Khalifa promised more balance on his sophomore effort, O.N.I.F.C. Being discussed throughout the year, Wiz Khalifa has had the opportunity to create the highest-anticipated album of the year. The first single released from the album, “Work Hard, Play Hard,” was met with a generally warm reception, leading to him delivering more hits from the album.

On December 4, Wiz Khalifa will officially release his sophomore album.
