Will the New Orleans Pelicans upset the Golden State Warriors in the second round?

When it comes to the playoffs, momentum is everything. No team, in the 2018 NBA Playoffs, has more momentum than the New Orleans Pelicans. This team peaked at the right time, and that ended up costing the Portland Trail Blazers, leaving Damian Lillard lost, again.

Anthony Davis, on the other hand, is living up to his potential, as he led the Pelicans past the first round for the first time in a decade. Definitely, he had help from Rajon Rondo and Jrue Holiday. Rondo has tons of experience winning playoff series.

The X factor, in the Pelicans/Blazers series was Rajon Rondo, with how he neutralized Damian Lillard. Going into the second round, the Warriors have a lot of problems. Even though they beat the Spurs, they’re banged up, and Steph Curry is just coming back from injury.

There is nothing stopping Rajon Rondo from shutting Curry down, like he did Lillard. With that exploit, there is nothing stopping Jrue Holiday from getting loose, not even Klay Thompson or Kevin Durant. In no way are the Pels the favorites to win this series and, if they do, it’s probably going to be a Game 7. But, will the Pelicans figure out a way to exploit the Warriors’ weaknesses, and win the series?
