Back in 2009, it was different kind of time, one filled with hope and optimism. Many of the changes that took place looked like they were reversing themselves. In music, it meant the snap music era looked like it was on its way out, and the mid-2000s were back.
With that, Eminem made his comeback, first launching “Crack A Bottle” to major success. But, Eminem showed himself to be back, with his usual comical self, with “We Made You.” A very 2009 video, he takes aim at Bret Michaels’ “Rock of Love” on VH1.
Eminem launched Relapse in 2009 and the “We Made You” video contains digs at Jessica Simpson, Kim Kardashian, Ellen DeGeneres, Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Aniston, Amy Winehouse, and many others. In the video, he also has cameos from Dr. Dre and 50 Cent. This was a solid nine years ago and is this week’s Wednesday Throwback.
