Yeah, 2 Live Crew came first, and they left a lasting impact, but everybody knows Trick Daddy IS Miami hip hop. Without him, the city would have never lasted as long as it did. It goes without even saying that there’d even be a “Love & Hip Hop Miami,” without him.

Trick Daddy hasn’t delivered a hit record, in close to a decade, but he remains at the top of the scene. Alongside Supa Cindy, he is the host of the “Famous and Uncensored” podcast. The show is quite popular, as they tackle all kinds of topics.

First and foremost, Trick Daddy is an artist and “Shut Up” helped cement him as a lasting star. The single was the lead for Book of Thugs, his third studio album. This Trina-assisted single is this week’s Wednesday Throwback, in light of Trick and Trina being on “Love & Hip Hop Miami.”
