During the weekend, Hip-HopVibe.com caught up with Master P and his daughter, Cymphonique. They were present for Erykah Badu’s 20th anniversary concert for Baduizm. While there, Master P discussed his biopic, Ice Cream Man, coming soon.
Master P has spoken on his biopic since the late summer of 2015. In these interviews, Master P places a lot of focus on his career from 1995 through the present. When speaking on the time before that, Master P is often vague, but said he did enough to catch Priority Records’ attention.
In light of Master P’s career and his biopic, Hip-HopVibe.com decided to make him the Wednesday Throwback focus. With many of his other songs often overused for throwbacks, we decided to visit his pre-1995 career. Referenced in his “Ice Cream Man” single, Master P mentions “The Ghetto’s Tryin’ To Kill Me,” which is the feature, this week.
