YRS Jerzy’s Wednesday Throwback: Soulja Boy ft. Arab – “Yahhh!”

It is hard to believe that Soulja Boy is now a veteran in the game, seeing how he represented the new internet era. But, Soulja Boy is a nine year veteran and he had some hits. Too often, Soulja Boy is written off for only having “Crank Dat,” but he had a few.

When Soulja Boy debuted, he put his crew on, including Arab, his former right-hand man. A lot has changed since then, but Soulja Boy stayed rich. He reminded Nia Riley about that on VH1, last season, during their “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” argument.

Soulja Boy has come a long way since Souljaboytellem.com, his debut album on Interscope Records. He has since gone back solo and does a lot of business, both in and out of music. But, Hip Hop Vibe is reflecting on his music career and bringing focus back to “Yahhh!” with Arab, a hit many likely forgot about.
