One of the many successful artists of the 1990s who emerged was Jon B, even though he is likely forgotten by many. Not to diminish the success he enjoyed, over the years, but Jon B was among many R&B stars during a strong R&B era. Last year, Hip Hop Vibe featured him.
Jon B rose to fame with “They Don’t Know” and also performed on the posthumous Tupac album R U Still Down? Last year, after his feature on the Wednesday Throwback, Jon B did a 90s tour. Tonight, he will be featured on TV One’s “Unsung.”
In light of Jon B’s upcoming “Unsung” feature, Hip Hop Vibe decided to give him the spotlight again. Just before his run ended, Jon B delivered his single, “Don’t Talk,” which was highly underrated. The latest Wednesday Throwback is for this single, which peaked in early spring of 2001.
