Last week, newly acquired New England Patriots Wide Receiver Antonio Brown made headlines once again as his former trainer, Britney Taylor, accused him of rape on three separate occasions. This comes after Brown demanded his release from the Raiders after starting so much drama with his helmet and almost fighting General Manager Mike Mayock.
Brown’s status of playing against the Miami Dolphins today was in question but he is taking the field as we speak. As far as Taylor, she will be meeting with league investigators tomorrow to discuss AB, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. Sources say that the goal is to wrap up this investigation as quickly as possible.
The NFL and the Patriots maintain their stance that they didn’t know about this lawsuit at all prior to Brown coming to New England. Team owner Robert Kraft reportedly would not have signed him if he did know about the situation.
Brown met Taylor while the two attended Central Michigan University. They met at a Bible study session. She went on to transfer to LSU.
