K.Tenee Releases Single “Tears Wasted” Off Her New Album
K. Tenee is a soul singer from Florida who’s had a fantastic journey learning music from various great singers and pianists. In 2020, she went through a big life change during the pandemic and to fulfill that empty space, she went back to her 1st love and began writing again. She dropped a new single titled “Tears Wasted” and she stated this song derived from her accepting of love relationships that did not serve her highest good. Such as taking a man’s shortcomings and playing along with
potential in hopes of a better love relationship until she had enough. She states “He would always cry and pretend to be a “changed man” and I would always fall for it and take him back and start the cycle all over again. Not this time, nope. I was done”.
It’s wonderful that she found a producer like WyCue who helped bring the song “Tears Wasted” to life. She decided to keep the original version because of its authenticity and rawness.
