Why Lil’ Kim chose to start a feud with Nicki Minaj will forever be a mystery. Even after all the success Nicki Minaj has enjoyed over the past two years, Lil’ Kim is still regarded as the “queen bee” of the rap game. The only issue Lil’ Kim had was securing a release date for her own album.

For nearly two years, Lil’ Kim and Nicki Minaj have been exchanging disses, with the last shot coming in the form of “Stupid Hoe.” The popularity of Lil’ Kim is down, but the respect for her legacy will always be there. When she appeared on “106 & Park,” last week, she caught everyone’s eye, including Terrence J.

Lil’ Kim was enjoying her appearance on “106 & Park,” as she had an opportunity to discuss her new projects. Things were going well for Lil’ Kim until Rocsi asked her about her issues with Nicki Minaj. Refusing to speak on the topic, Lil’ Kim was obviously upset. After leaving “106 & Park,” Lil’ Kim vented about Rocsi on Twitter.

When Rocsi asked the question, Lil’ Kim dodged it by questioning why they would ask her about Nicki Minaj when the appearance was about her. She said what happened with Nicki Minaj has already played out and she is now moving on. On Twitter, Lil’ Kim thanked her fans for their support, even when Rocsi tried to get “disrespectful” towards the end. The question about Nicki Minaj offended Lil’ Kim, but it was her who created the entire topic to begin with. Every time the feud seems to be over, another chapter is created.

At this point, the media questions the feud because it is ongoing. While Lil’ Kim does have a legendary legacy, her feud with Nicki Minaj is the only thing really keeping her relevant at the moment. The only thing relevant to Lil’ Kim, until she releases more music, is her feud with Nicki Minaj. This type of thing happens all the time, as Rick Ross was often asked about his feud with 50 Cent, because it was the primary thing keeping him relevant, at the time. Rick Ross, however, managed to remain in the spotlight by delivering good music.

If Lil’ Kim wants to end all questions about Nicki Minaj, she needs to deliver good music, which everyone knows she is capable of doing. Everyone, including Lil’ Kim, knows Rocsi is not her problem, securing an album release date is.
