Meet Music Video Director “Monty” from Monty Media Group

Monty Media Group CEO “Monty” is back with some new unique visuals that have been getting some notoriety. I had the opportunity to tap in with the owner to get more familiar with the inspirations behind the visuals. His latest music video is to challenge the viewers’ expectations and introduces them to new concepts that go beyond the norm. As the director for VH1 Love and Hip Hop Star “Jennaske” new visual to Pressure he wanted to think outside the box and present a Western-themed video that offers more than meets the eye. By incorporating elements that deviate from what is trending, the director aimed to create a unique visual experience for the audience.

What makes this video unique is its modern Western commentary and storyline. It presents a Western love story that combines moments of sex appeal and grit, aligning with the lyrics of the song. One intriguing aspect of the video is that the artist, Jennaske, plays both the villain and the hero in this short film. She applies pressure and saves her love interest, adding complexity and depth to the narrative.

Drawing inspiration from renowned directors such as Chris Robertson, Director X, Benny Boom, and Hype Williams, the director appreciates vivid and in-your-face visuals that make an impact.

When it comes to determining the type of artist to work with, the CEO of Monty Media Group has a broad range of experience. They collaborate with artists from various genres, including up-and-coming talents who may lack experience or a substantial budget. Despite these limitations, the director strives to accommodate the artist’s vision and deliver high-quality work. Whether an artist has label backing or is an independent artist, the director ensures the same level of passion and dedication in their work.

Aside from directing music videos, the director has other projects in the works. They mention a TV show called “Battling Myself,” for which they have completed shooting the first episode. Although they can’t disclose many details about their other ventures, they express excitement about the upcoming series, which features various talented artists.
