A lot of people would say Game is responsible for bridging the gap between the 1990s era of West Coast hip hop and the current generation. This is especially true in the hip hop scene in Los Angeles. By the time Snoop Dogg and his generation established themselves as veterans, Game rose up in a generation all alone.

Other Los Angeles rappers were making moves, but Game was the only one who was getting widespread recognition. However, in 2011, several LA rappers made their way to the forefront of the rap game. Many of them received a co-sign from Game, most notably the TDE guys.

So much has been said about who holds what position in the game and many people say Game still deserves a lot more respect. In the past, Game has proven he is willing to take a back seat, but Game said it all this morning. This morning, Game posted a photo on Instagram of him getting into his parked 2014 Rolls Royce Wraith and he dubbed himself a Los Angeles King.
