DJs play a very important role in hip hop, even though they get overlooked a lot. But, it’s good to see some DJs out there really getting it and making a legacy. One person many up-and-coming DJs look up to, especially in the Tri State area is DJ Envy.
Best-known for co-hosting “The Breakfast Club,” DJ Envy has been around hip hop for a long time. He has broken big records from some of the biggest artists in the game, period. This work took place on mixtapes and radio.
DJ Envy is currently the most-known DJ on the radio and he also owns a stock in his radio station’s parent company. An all around businessman, DJ Envy is one who can afford to show off a little bit. Seeing how hard he works, up at four in the morning, DJ Envy earned the right to show off his gold Rolex watch to his Instagram followers.
