Texas Trill: Drake reps for Johnny Manziel on Instagram [PHOTOS]

Toronto is where Drake was born, raised, and came up at, but he’s heavily influenced by the South. On every Drake release, he pays homage to various cities in the South. But, it seems like Drake is more influenced by Texas and their cities more than any other one.

Drake’s love for Texas goes much deeper than the music and he has featured Bun B on his debut album and paid homage to many others. Listening to Drake, it’s clear he is also a major sports fan. Back in 2012, Drake almost got into a situation with Kobe Bryant over his reference of him in “Stay Schemin.'”

On social media, Drake has made his admiration for Johnny Manziel, also known as Johnny Football, known. Manziel plays for Texas A&M University and Drake holds it down for him. A few minutes ago, Drake took to Instagram with photos of him and his team wearing Johnny Manziel-inspired jerseys.
