Ab-Soul – “Hollandaise”

Ab-Soul returns with Hollandaise his first single in years

Ab-Soul was once predicted to be the next major star in the game. Ultimately, Ab-Soul decided that is not what he wanted to do. Definitely, Ab-Soul had the potential to become a major force in the game. At the end of the day, Ab-Soul just wanted to rap. When Ab-Soul got his deal and was paid to rap, he did just that.

Ab-Soul was considered the most lyrical member of Top Dawg Entertainment. Alongside Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, and Jay Rock, Ab-Soul formed Black Hippy. When Ab-Soul and Top Dawg were taking over the game, Black Hippy had a lot of hype. Despite Black Hippy announcing a project, Ab-Soul told the public that they will never release an album.

Ab-Soul, as it turns out, was one of those unique kinds of rappers. There are rappers who are dope, but hardly release music to the public. Ab-Soul firmly falls into that category. As a result, Ab-Soul has a niche audience. But, Ab-Soul is a quality over quantity type of artist, anyway, so it fits. Today, Ab-Soul returned with “Hollandaise” as his new single, his first release in a while.
