During the spring of 2012, Chief Keef went from being the young rapper known for making music with Soulja Boy to a viral sensation. His single, “I Don’t Like,” took over the internet and later mainstream media. Several remixes of the song came, most notably Kanye West, who added Pusha T, Big Sean, and Jadakiss to the record. From there, a bidding war began over Chief Keef, with Birdman and Young Jeezy making offers to the young rapper. Interscope Records won the battle, but lost the way when Chief Keef made controversial Twitter posts that have him being probed by the government. Still, the “I Don’t Like” remixes continue to come in with the new Universal Republic signee, Angel Haze, remixing the song. Angel Haze calls her version, “Shit I Don’t Like.”
