Biz Markie took over the game in 1988 with “Just A Friend” and, like the rest of the late 1980s, it is making a comeback. It comes courtesy of flashbacks of Lucious and Cookie (Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson) first meeting each other. Lucious (Howard) brought Biz Markie to perform “Just A Friend” to Cookie (Henson), as he feels threatened by Angelo (Taye Diggs).
