Lil Wayne has held New Orleans down for a long time now. There are plenty of other rappers rising to the forefront of the rap game. Ironically, the former Lil Wayne producer, Mannie Fresh, is working with one of the next major New Orleans star, Dee-1. Recently, Dee-1 returned with his latest mixtape, Psalms of David. Lecrae is among the guests featured on the tape.
