There was a four year period when Havoc and Lloyd Banks were label-mates. This took place when Mobb Deep controversially signed with G-Unit Records. At the time, 50 Cent had elevated from another rapper with a crew to a mogul. In the time since then, things did not go quite as the crew hoped. In 2009, Mobb Deep was dropped from G-Unit Records by parent company, Interscope, hwo also dropped Lloyd Banks from their roster in 2009. Havoc has since gone solo, following a brief feud with his own partner, Prodigy. Reunited, he is preparing his solo debut, 13, to be released on May 7. In the meantime, he drops his new single with Lloyd Banks, which is called “Life We Chose.”
