Not even the weekend has slowed down the mixtape grind. It is good to be a part of something that has been around since the beginning of hip hop, which is the mixtapes. A time existed before the glitz and fame that the world has become obsessed with when it was just about the music.

Any passionate DJ puts the music ahead of everything else and they drop the mixtapes filled with the passionate artists. DJ Superstar Jay has consistently done this throughout his career. He has quite a staple built with his I Am Mixtapes series and he released the new I Am Mixtapes 148 over the weekend.

I Am Mixtapes 148 features music from Meek Mill, Juicy J, Jay-Z, Ace Hood, Tyga, Waka Flocka Flame, Tony Yayo, and many more. All New York hip hop heads should be familiar with DJ Superstar Jay and his movement. With the new mixtape out, they now have a guide to go along with it.
