In 2006, Lil’ Boosie took over the game and put Louisiana back on the map. There was a brief period in 2007 and 2009 when even Lil’ Boosie had to take a backseat and this was when Hurricane Chris emerged. The past five years, for different reasons, have been unkind to both rappers, but they have come together for “Ratchet,” Hurricane Chris’ latest track.
