Jim Jones releases single Show Off with Trav
Through his career, Jim Jones has always played several roles, within hip hop. Jones has definitely made himself known as an executive, but also proved he could make hit records. Not long after his own breakout success, with “We Fly High,” Dipset broke up. So, Jim Jones has been putting out his own music, working with many NYC rappers, along with doing reality TV.
In 2011, Jim Jones had the chance to do a reality show with VH1, but he turned it down. The show ended up being “Love & Hip Hop,” so his girlfriend, Chrissy Lampkin, did it. Jimmy made appearances on the show, but they left the series following 2012’s season two. This has left Jim Jones free to focus on music and maintain his privacy.
Jim Jones has become a fixture on mixtapes, over the past year. He has also been releasing tracks for his own mixtapes. Recently, Jim Jones and Trav linked up, once again, for a new track. The latest is called “Show Off” and is expected to appear on his Vampire Life 2 mixtape. These two have appeared on numerous tracks together.
