The city of Nashville has an esteemed music history. All of the Tennessee cities have had history when it comes to gospel, soul, and R&B music. In hip hop, Memphis is Tennessee’s main city. But, Nashville also has some stars, as well.

All of that is the past, but Kirk B is the future. He represents the city of Nashville, but Kirk B has fans from all over the world. While he’s putting in work as a rapper, Kirk B does it all, and is an executive above all else. In 2014, Kirk B and Billy Joee Brown started FNTS (From Nothin’ to Stuntin’), their record label.

Kirk B is dominating in a way that hasn’t been heard of, in nearly two decades. While Kirk B is definitely pushing his music online, he still sells physical copies. When he released his first mixtape, Off The Bench, Vol. 1, Kirk B sold 20,000 hard copies. The numbers Kirk B put up are the kinds of numbers that even mainstream, major label, artists struggle to post. Even as he’s doing that, Kirk B has collaborations with major artists. Last year, Kirk B returned with the release of his single, “Kash Doll,” featuring Kash Doll.
