Mike Posner – “Heaven”

On Friday, cruelty reached new heights when a gunman, Adam Lanza, went on a murdering spree. His targets? Six and seven year old children at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. Twenty children were murdered and there were eight adults murdered. The story has been all over the news, as parents getting ready for Christmas are now preparing for a funeral. Like the rest of the world, the hip hop community watched in shock and horror, as evil was upon the world. Mike Posner is among the first hip hop artists to release music in honor of victims of Newtown, Connecticut. Most religions state all children who die wind up in heaven. Honoring this, Mike Posner wrote a letter, pictured above, and delivered a special single, which he titled “Heaven.”
