Mimi Faust talks Lupe Fiasco’s “Bitch Bad” with Global 14 [AUDIO]

Last year, Lupe Fiasco shocked a lot of people when they saw “Bitch Bad” beside his name. Yes, the first single off Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor II was called “Bitch Bad,” a phrase similar to “bad bitch,” phrases he tends to stay away from. The people who listened to the song understood this was intentional, as Lupe Fiasco flipped the words.

Clearly, the song was the opposite of the “bad bitch” phrase and Lupe Fiasco broke down everything that came with that title. Adding a little child to the mix was a nice touch and made for great interview topics. Being central on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” if anyone is familiar with the term, “bitch,” it’s Mimi Faust.

She recently talked to Global 14 and the topic got on current hip hop music. One song that Mimi Faust is really feeling right now is “Bitch Bad.” The song is over a year old, but she said it resonates with her. Mimi Faust is a fan of the lyrics and an even bigger fan of the message.
