Hit-Boy is proof that artists don’t always have to go with the most-popular move. In 2012, Hit-Boy produced on the compilation album, Cruel Summer, from Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music, which produced many of the hottest songs of the summer, but after the project, he left G.O.O.D. to do his own thing. Since then, he’s worked on a consistent number of projects, being an artist, himself, delivering The Chauncey Hollis Project, featuring appearances from Benny The Butcher and Kent M$ney.
