New Track “Just Be Chillin” from Sacramento’s DLRN is an Instant Classic
The Bay Area and Sacramento are responsible for the hyphy movement that had a huge impact on the West Coast rap sound in the early 2000s, and now a young disciple of that movement is stepping up with a new style that will make you wanna listen over and over again. Sacramento-based rapper and songwriter DLRN (pronounced Da-lor-in) just dropped newest single “Just Be Chillin,” and on first listen you’ll know he’s here to stay.

After growing up in some of the same neighborhoods that Mac Dre once resided, DLRN took up music as a break from street life and slowly developed his craft. In 2012 he joined LA rapper Casey Veggies and the acclaimed CyHi the Prynce on a mixtape, but the wait for DLRN’s major label debut was more than worth it. DLRN is a shining example of California creativity, and his smooth-but-raspy voice over this Bay Area-inspired beat will make you hit repeat!
