Often overlooked in Snoop Dogg’s legacy was his time with No Limit Records. Leaving Death Row Records, Snoop Dogg signed with the popular New Orleans label. During this period of time, Snoop Dogg became well-acclimated with the members of the crew. Mr. Magic lost his life in a tragic car accident last week. Though he has mended fences with his first label boss and has new life as Snoop Lion, Snoop has not forgotten his history with No Limit Records. In honor of his fallen former label-mate, Snoop Dogg has returned with his new single, which is called “Heaven.” Two years ago, during this time, Snoop Dogg dealt with the death of another close associate and former label-mate when Nate Dogg died.
