Blvck Krown release Step Brothers debut album with DJ E Sudd

Based in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Blvck Krown is one of the hardest working duos in the game. As independent artists, indies have to do everything alone. Not every independent artist understands this, but Blvck Krown does. Consisting of the “twins,” Don Yolo and King Khoi, these guys have actually put the work in to market their material.

Don Yolo took it upon himself to run independent ad campaigns during the summer of 2021. His single, “Spin Da Block” inspired a lot of artists, independent and major, and his promo run was unique. To promote the record, Don Yolo drove across the state of North Carolina. Giving gifts, Don Yolo gave people free gas, which was timely, due to North Carolina having a shortage to begin the summer.

Blvck Krown are representatives of the bigger We The Family movement. Much more than a record label, or music collective, WTF is a way of life. Alongside Don Yolo and King Khoi, there is also Don Speedy holding down the movement. But, Blvck Krown returns today with Step Brothers, their debut album. The two knew they had to stand out, so they tapped DJ E. Sudd to host the project.
