Dave East releases new “Book Of David” mixtape
Over the last five years, Dave East has established himself as one of the best lyricists from the east coast. East signed to Nas’ Mass Appeal record label in 2014, and the only place was up, from there. He’s put out plenty of hot projects, such as his “Karma” series, and his 2019 debut studio album, “Survival.”
East is now back with his first project of 2022, “Book Of David.” This is a Gangsta Grillz mixtape hosted by DJ Drama, as is handled by production duo Buda and Grandz. 17 new songs are available, including a bonus track. Drama has been hosting plenty of mixtapes over the past month like it’s the 2000s and 2010s again, with Jeezy, NBA Youngboy and Snoop Dogg.
