Levi Zadoff and Dead Hendrix unite for Dead Summer EP
Known for his distinctive brand of music that helped him get established, Levi Zadoff is a fast-rising pop-punk musician from Los Angeles. However, he was not immune to the ways of the world. In 2020, the world essentially stopped, and life as previously known changed forever. Basically, Levi Zadoff saw the world through the eyes of the lockdown. As a result, he used that as an inspiration and used music to vent out his feelings.
Levi Zadoff ended up building a unique musical partnership with Dead Hendrix. Hailing from Ottawa, Canada, Dead Hendrix is a 20-year-old artist who has been writing music since childhood. The pain of going through the pandemic and the losses of people close to them gave mutual pain. They joined forces, and the outcome is Dead Summer EP.
Levi Zadoff and Dead Hendrix have harnessed their feelings, blending them with melodies, all suited to tell a story. In the case of Levi Zadoff, Dead Summer is his comeback project since the phenomenon of his Soundcloud release in 2018 and two projects on Spotify. Meanwhile, Dead Summer is Dead Hendrix’s debut project. When they named their project Dead Summer, they meant it literally and figuratively. The literal is the number of deaths, and the figurative is those empty summer days. To put it together, they worked with such producers as IOF, Yago Beats, and SPLASHGVNG.
