Vondo delivers new album Deep Waters
Vondo is a rising rapper that is considered a trail blazing talent. He kicks off his new chapter with an entire new album titled, Deep Waters. By “fresh start,” this means under his new moniker, as he was previously known as Von Prospa. This multifaceted musician is a rapper, producer and song-writer from Roselle, New Jersey. He has been shaking up the scene since he was thirteen
. At a young age, Von began honing his craft by sculpting his rapping and song-writing abilities. His raw talent, consistency and growing acclaim leads to a very bright future for the young emcee. In doing so, the New Jersey native gets right to work with the 10-track project to assure his fans that nothing has changed except his stage name.
“Sometimes to get where we want to go in life, we have to take that [deep] dive we’ve been scared to take. This is the premise of the project. Facing the deep waters, knowing everything you want is below the surface… you just have to take the leap to get it.”
VONDO produced six of the ten records on the album. Lucas Quinn, Flavr Boy, Lollini, KXVI, and Karn Beats also contributed to the production. New Jersey native, Noah, is the lone feature on “Lived It Well.” Meanwhile, VONDO handles the rest of the album all on his own. Other rappers who had virtually no guest appearances on their debut albums include the likes of Nas.
