Yo Gotti disses Gucci Mane on “ION Want It” off “I Am” [AUDIO]

The only person with a mixtape track record that can parallel Yo Gotti is Gucci Mane, who used to be a good friend of his. All of this ended when Gucci Mane got mad at Yo Gotti for dropping his mixtape the same day as him last year. Gucci Mane went on a tirade, dissing Yo Gotti, French Montana, and Nicki Minaj on Atlanta’s Hot 107.9.

Yo Gotti tried to stay above the beef, but he did record a diss record. However, Yo Gotti got upset when the producer leaked the record in an attempt to generate attention. In whatever case, the damage was done and Gucci Mane considered Yo Gotti an enemy, signing his rival, OG Boo Dirty, to 1017 Brick Squad.

I Am drops tomorrow and the latest leak off the album has a lot of people talking. At a time when things are tense within the hip hop community, already, Yo Gotti is taking shots with his new track, “ION Want It.” On the track, Yo Gotti says “if a n… named after a handbag, he ass.”
