Ashley Johnson, a native of Blanch, North Carolina, is among the rising models from North Carolina. At the age of twenty-one, Ashley Johnson is making moves toward becoming a star in the overall hip hop game.
Before modeling, Ashley Johnson was known for her striking good looks. Considered by many an overall beauty, Ashley Johnson decided to give modeling a try. After all, it was often suggested to Ashley Johnson to begin modeling, so she eventually started modeling and has become highly popular. Bringing a change to the game, Ashley Johnson has won over everyone who has seen her.
Both brains and beauty, Ashley Johnson is Hip Hop Vibe’s latest Hottie of the Week. During her interview with Hip Hop Vibe, Ashley Johnson discussed her start in modeling, her goals, and what she would change in the game. Ashley Johnson spoke very openly with Hip Hop Vibe about a number of subject.

How did you get into modeling? People told me I should try modeling for god knows how long but I just brushed them off until I did my second photoshoot and fell in love.
Do you feel as if the modeling game has become saturated? Yes, modeling is not all about being naked and having the biggest breast and butt, but sex sells nowadays so I guess that’s what you have to have to make it.
Can you talk about growing up in Blanch, North Carolina? Growing up in the country then to me was boring and horrible but now when I visit I love the quiet and openness and the fact that I can be the tomboy I am and always will be. I had two dogs, a trampoline, a swing set, my bike and a huge yard and that’s all I needed. There was no need for cell phones or the internet back then and it was so much less stressful.
In what ways do you think hip hop has influenced modeling? I feel like it has turned modeling into a giant sex industry. It is adult entertainment but I feel if thats how you want to be entertained then maybe you should go watch some porn.
Who are some of your favorite rappers? Bow Wow, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and Chris Brown.
What do you consider to be tasteful modeling? Implied nudity, lingire, casual clothing, and legs closed.
Is there any form of modeling you consider to be your specialty? I prefer doing videos, or print. Promotional is nice as well.
What type of gigs have you been doing? Mostly video shoots and magazines.
