The past decade has seen Pittsburgh emerge onto the hip hop scene in a major way. They have dominated the NFL for years, but now it is dominating the hip hop world. In addition to the music, this also means the models.

Jasmine Santana is so Pittsburgh that she calls herself the Pittsburgh Princess. Representing her city to the fullest, Jasmine Santana rocks it out with one of the biggest booties in the game. Recently, she took some time out to discuss her role in the game.

In Hip Hop Vibe’s latest Hottie of the Week segment, Jasmine Santana is the featured lady. During her exclusive interview, Jasmine Santana was open about her current position and career aspirations. The future is looking bright for this young lady.

Can you tell us what inspired you to get into modeling? Well, it started out when I was 18. I did a photo shoot for an EP cover I was working on and a couple people had acknowledged it and told me that I would be amazing as a model.

Seeing how you are already a personality, could you see yourself venturing into acting? Yes, very much so. I cannot wait to get into acting, that is definitely one of my main priorities at this moment.

Who are some prominent women in the industry that you look up to? I am a huge fan of many different women in the industry for instance, all the Kardashians, I love them. I love their work ethic I love how they brand themselves, and I love how they all have some part in modeling, but are not the typical model figure. Rihanna is another person I look up to very much very free-spirited not to shy to show off her beauty. I love women like that women who are not scared to show the world what they’re made of in a classy tasteful way.

Being a native of Pittsburgh, how do you feel about the rising hip hop scene there? I love it, I’m so happy that I am a part of an era where there were so many people who I went to school with making something of themselves. I love that each time one of these artists do make it you have huge support from the rest of the city I feel as if our city is finally coming together and supporting each other in a major movement way we have so much talent here we could take over.

What type of impact do you think your ethnic background has had on your lifestyle and career direction? My ethnicity has had a major impact on my modeling career, it has given me a variety of choices to work with because I do have a distinct look.

You say you are best-known for your lips and your eyes, what type of compliments do you typically receive for those attributes? Everyone says I have beautiful eyes because they are Hazel and they change based off of the colors that I wear and the mood that I’m in, I think that is the biggest compliment I get consistently look beautiful passionate eyes I have. As for my lips, ever since I was a child I’ve been complimented on how nicely shaped and for my lips were because coming from the back where I come from a lot of kids that look like me, so when I was little, I had this bright blonde hair with hazel green eyes in these full of red lips . My mother always made sure to let me know that those were things I was blessed with.
