Hottie of the Week: Miss V

By Lady Killa

Several cities outline the Gulf of Mexico; however the Florida cities are the ones which receive a bulk of the media attention. Louisiana has endured tough times over the past few years, but the Boot State still has some of the most beautiful cities in the world. Among those cities is Shreveport, Louisiana. The city of Shreveport is often overlooked, but is full of rising talent and the beauty extends to the residents of the city.
Miss V is currently making a name for herself, modeling in the Shreveport area. When she is not pursuing her modeling career, she can be found working at a local Holiday Inn. A very friendly lady, Miss V enjoys her job, working at the desk. Building relationships with both co-workers and guests, Miss V considers a lot of them as family. Very important to Miss V is family, as she is also a loving mother of two children, a son and a daughter.
While she does have a full plate, preparing to return to school to participate in the Pharmacy Tech program, Miss V is still highly focused on establishing herself as a model. Miss V has what many lack, confidence in herself, which allows her the freedom to do what she does, as she does not worry about the reaction. These qualities are what have helped mold this young woman into the person she is today. She recently spoke with Hip Hop Vibe, as our latest “Hottie of the Week.”
Read the entire interview below:
What inspired you to begin modeling; was it seeing the likes of Tyra Banks and Kim Kardashian find success? I myself inspired me to start modeling. I love to dress up, to do my hair and makeup.
In between your day job and your children, how often do you model? It makes me feel beautiful and sexy. Watching Tyra Banks and Kim Kardashian I would consider to be my positive reinforcements.
So far, what type of gigs have you landed? So far I have been a co-host for a local music video station called Phat Traxx. I did some modeling for another local group known as Moneybag Entertainment.
Are you opposed to doing risqué modeling? My first photo shoot was done with Ron Henderson out of Houston,Texas.I feel like Ron is another inspiration of mine to take chances and step out of my comfort zone. By doing that I was able to take some great risque’ and semi-nude photos. I feel that even when you bare it all you still can remain sophisticated. Its all in the eye of the beholder.
How will you balance your time, as you already do so much? Balancing my time is not a problem at all for me. I’m great with routines and the unexpected, either way it comes I’m ready.
When will you be going back to school? I should be starting school this Fall which will take some of my time.
Are you looking forward to it? I’m really looking forward to seeing childhood friends make new ones and of course use my brain power.
