Just because 2 Chainz is the biggest rapper in the South, it does not mean he does not also have that New York appeal. As the days go by, 2 Chainz becomes an even bigger artist and it is all off the strength of one album. The baton has officially been passed from popular Miami rapper, Rick Ross, to 2 Chainz.

Rick Ross’ official downfall is due to his work with another Atlanta rapper, Rocko. A misstep in lyrics cost Rick Ross majorly on “U.O.E.N.O.” To his defense came his cohorts, Meek Mill and Ace Hood, along with Slim Thug and even Rocko. But, Reebok still ended their deal and radio stations are still boycotting.

While 2 Chainz pushes the envelope, he has stayed within the parameters of what is acceptable in this new era. Brooklyn was happy to have 2 Chainz, along with other celebrated names, including Drake, at the 2013 Jordan Brand Classic. At the event, 2 Chainz had the chance to get hugged up with future label-mate, Iggy Azalea.
