2 Chainz & Lil Wayne announce “Welcome 2 Collegrove” album

On Friday, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz released their new “Presha” album. This is the first single off of their highly anticipated and lomg-awaited sequel to their “Collegrove” album. This comes after 2 Chainz revealed in a new interview with Rock The Bells earlier this week, that the project will be available sometime in November.

Meanwhile, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz have just confirmed the official title and release date for this joint album. This is “Welcome 2 Collegrove,” as it’ll be available on November 17. Furthermore, the official cover art was also unveiled which forms another body morphing of 2 Chainz and Wayne. Moreover, presave options on streaming platforms for Welcome 2 Collegrove are also now available.

2 Chainz and Lil Wayne’s first Collegrove album was initially released way back in March 2016. At the time, that project contained 13 songs, including hits such as “Gotta Lotta” and “Watch Out.” But, the following years contained many delays of Welcome 2 Collegrove. However, the sequel is finally almost here, as two of hip-hop’s most iconic rappers will link up again for what should be another impressive joint album.

Welcome 2 Collegrove will also be Wayne’ second album of 2023, as he put out “Tha Fix Before Tha VI,” last month. This project is in preparation for his long-awaited “Tha Carter VI” album.
