2 Chainz and Lil Wayne announce “Long Story Short” single
On Friday, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne are set to finally release their highly anticipated second joint album, “Welcome 2 Collegrove.” This is the sequel to 2 Chainz and Wayne’s 2016 “Collegrove” album.
Meanwhile, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne have another lead single coming on Friday, ahead of Welcome 2 Collegrove’s release. This is “Long Story Short,” as the two previewed the video for it, on Wednesday afternoon.
21 songs are scheduled to appear on Welcome 2 Collegrove, as the initial lead single was “Presha.” That collaboration was released in late October. Wayne and 2 Chainz even went on to perform this collaboration on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Furthermore, Wayne has also been very consistent with his releases in 2023, overall. He released his “Tha Fix Before Tha VI” album in late September, as that included 11 new songs. Those were led by singles such as “Kat Food” and “Kan’t Nobody” featuring the late DMX. This album was released, in preparation for Wayne’s forthcoming “Tha Carter VI” album.
