So far, 2 Chainz is living up to his promise to come out with a new album every year and he is riding that Based on a T.R.U. Story series. In 2012, 2 Chainz had a lot of success with the original version of the album. Last year, came the Me Time sequel. 2 Chainz was disappointed that Def Jam under shipped the album to stores.
It’s been a few months since 2 Chainz released his last album and he revealed he was in the studio already. Each time 2 Chainz was asked, he mentioned he was in the studio working on new material. Officially one month into 2014 with the second month counting down, 2 Chainz was ready to make his announcement.
2 Chainz is back in the studio and he is working on B.O.A.T.S. III. More than likely, the new album will come before the end of this year. This morning, 2 Chainz made the official announcement on Twitter and the music off the album is likely to be released in the next few months and he will probably discuss the album in interviews.
