Yesterday, XXL announced their annual Freshman list. Many well-known artists were not included on this list, despite their efforts over the past year. All over Twitter, people were going in on the list and basically saying the list isn’t what it’s cracked up to be.
Fans and established artists had something to say about the list. At heart, 2 Chainz is a big music head and, despite being a XXL Freshman, himself, he called it out. From the gate, 2 Chainz let it be known that he’ll keep it real.
This time around, 2 Chainz had choice words for the list. The list does include Stefflon Don and Lil Pump, but it’s missing some big names. He said without Lil Baby, 6ix9ine, Moneybagg Yo, Tee Grizzley, and NBA Youngboy, the list isn’t holding its own.
