2 Chainz faces one year of jail time and $1,000 fine over August police standoff

Tour life can be hectic for any music star, seeing how most artists have extracurricular activities that might be illegal. But, when 2 Chainz’ tour stopped through Oklahoma City, he wasn’t doing anything illegal. His tour bus was stopped in a routine traffic check.

2 Chainz and his team, however, refused to exit the bus when they were required to by law enforcement. Initially, 2 Chainz played the situation off in the eyes of the media and said nothing happened. Now, there are reports of 2 Chainz and ten other members of his camp being arrested after weapons and drugs were found.

The situation does appear to be a bit dire, as 2 Chainz now is facing one year of jail time and a $1,000 fine if convicted. He and his team were accused of smoking weed by law enforcement, something most rappers have probably been accused of. Previously, 2 Chainz addressed the situation and he apologized to the fans.
