2 Chainz finally takes a selfie someone taller than him in Michael Jordan, saying this is “For Da Culture” in his IG caption [PHOTO]

Culturally, Michael Jordan did so much and opened so many doors. The 1990s are not the 1990s, without Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls that accomplished so much. At the same time, hip hop was establishing itself as the force that it is, today.
2 Chainz is a relic of the 1990s, but ended up having to wait it out until the 2000s, when he joined DTP. One half of Playaz Circle, on Ludacris’ label, 2 Chainz made a many video cameo. Then, in 2011, he took a risk, and went out on his own, breaking through in 2012.
When 2 Chainz rose to stardom, everything about him was big news. A lot of talk about him surrounded how tall he was, as he was easily rap’s tallest member, at 6’5. But, he linked up with Michael Jordan, five years after shouting him out on “Mercy.”
