Last summer, Tity Boi decided to fully launch his solo career, separating himself from both Playaz Circle and DTP Records. Taking advice from Ludacris, 2 Chainz was soon born. 2 Chainz made quite the impression on the Atlanta mixtape scene, forming an alliance with Future, among others.
In 2011, Future was the breakthrough Atlanta hip hop artist, though his debut album would not come until 2012. While Future had 2011, 2 Chainz was able to reach a joint venture deal with Def Jam. The deal with Def Jam, paired with the Kanye West partnership insured 2 Chainz being the dominating Atlanta artist of 2012.
All of 2 Chainz’ prior work has led up to the release ofBased on a T.R.U. Story, his debut album. Six days from now, 2 Chainz will unleash his new album on the world, the album is among the most-anticipated. Before the album comes out, 2 Chainz held a listening session.
